The World is so big, isn’t it? And yet, because of access to technology and knowledge (at least for those who have access), the world can be quite small.
But I think the world is big. Even technology can’t locate all of the nuances the world has to offer. It has to be experienced. Not sure I will be able to travel much this year - but I won’t put that into the ether. If I don’t, though, I’m not sure I can experience the world in NYC. However, my room mate has a lot of books in the living room. I’d like to take time to read through them. Every time I look at them, I feel like they could teach me a lot. There’s an array of topics on this shelf too; Plays, autobiographies, books on socialism, activism, etc. etc. I should make use of these.

World-knowledge
Well.. It’s December 20th, 2022. I think the internet is a different place than from when it first began. I mean, it obviously is. I should be more specific. Anonymity is different on the internet now than what is use to be. I bet people just wrote whatever they wanted without the thought of it being showcased to the world. Or maybe I just think I’m going to be famous and that whatever I write here will eventually be showcased to the world. Maybe if I were writing this in the beginning of the internet I would have felt the same. Most likely.
I’m not entirely sure what to write about. I dedicated an hour to do it. Do I need to revise this? Or can I be like that character from the show Wednesday who says “I write in my voice”? I’d prefer to do that but I also don’t want to get roasted. - By the way, I watched the first episode. I like it the same way I liked the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. I was in it for the vibes, finished season one and that’s all I’ll probably watch.
Speaking of writing in my voice, I think about Shakespeare and the way he wrote. According to what we know about Shakespeare, he invented over 1,700 words we use today. So, why not write in my voice? However, after reading this article, Shakespeare might’ve had very specific reasons for using words that have not yet existed though its root word had; such as Smileness as described in the article. As for me, I’m just not as literate as I could have been had I been more studious in school. I will do my best with this blog.

2022
Since September I’ve been taking acting classes at CBU Actor’s Studio. Now that I need to find scenes for my designated partner and I each month, I’ve been inclined to watch more movies and TV. Prior to this, I only ever watched content I truly felt would inspire me.. or something - never just to watch something. I’m still this way! But now I’m open to experiencing a show or movie just to watch the acting. Alternatively, that last sentence doesn’t lead me into the movie Hackers (1995) because this one has actually been calling my name for awhile! Now that I live in a space with almost all of the big streaming networks (thank you, roomies) I finally got a chance to watch this.
First of all, Angelina Jolie has made an impact on my identity from the moment I watched her in Mr. & Mrs. Smith. A good looking married couple kicking ass in nothing but rainboots and bedwear, yes please. I thought Angelina to be very refined, elegant, and beautiful with an edge. Even her personal life (from what I’ve seen in the media) inspires me. Her experimental phase as a young person to the U.N. to directing and producing her own movies is admirable.
HOWEVER! Angelina isn’t the main focus of this post. I was ffflllaabberggassteedd when I saw a young Marc Anthony in a FBI suit. That’s right, we have Marc Anthony in this flick and oddly enough, we look alike; who knew. I didn’t know!
Like really…
If you don’t know what I look like - here’s a link to me.
I didn’t focus too much on the acting in this movie, I’m not going to lie. It was pure entertainment of 90’s tech era in nyc featuring a well known cast. I also found some of it relatable to today this time (2020). Also, one little thing I noticed was a Supreme sticker on a laptop.
Can you see it?
